This was a really last minute thing...Bex decided she felt left out of us all excitedly discussing Armageddon and so she commissioned me to do a costume for her too, lol.

The pattern for the top was drafted from my school blazer and then...I played. *cackles* I made a mock-up of the thing from cheap cotton and pinned it on Bex, adding darts until it fit snugly and then cut it out of the vinyl, pinned it on and made a few last alterations. It was kinda fun, really...although it is a pretty shoddily made garment, I'm proud of it anyway. I made this when I'd just started costuming, and I don't really like using this vinyl...I think I might have had an easier time using satin or something, and maybe altering a pattern rather than starting from scratch.

The pants were simple, just a pattern for shorts with a slightly altered waistband and widened legs. We forgot to buy a zip, (><) and so did without - and it looks better this way, I think. The hat isn't right, I know...but no-one knew the difference, and it suited our purposes for this. The gloves were bought from Spacesuit and because they were so expensive Bex wouldn't let me cut them. Fair 'nuff, really...even if they weren't accurate, they looked pretty cool.
