Little-Noise corsets are fully customisable, so there are a few options for you to think about before ordering! We aim to create a garment that will be treasured, and is as close to what you have in mind as possible. Please let us know what colour, fabric and decorative elements (if any) you'd like. If you have images of what you'd like, please email them to us. If you would like a custom design, please indicate this below and we will be in touch to discuss your corset further. We can also work with your own fabric if you would like to supply it yourself - we will need to double check that it is suitable, but we can work with a very wide range of fabrics and are always willing to accomodate your preferences. We do not at this time work with leather, but can work with faux leather and vinyl on request.
As of April 1st, 2012 Little-Noise garments will be made with a stronger, higher quality base fabric and will be strengthened for extended wear. New prices have been introduced to reflect the higher quality of materials, and we are pleased to announce that due to the new materials and techniques used, Little-Noise corsets are now suitable for extended wear!
All Little-Noise corsets are made to order, for both standard and custom sizes and may take up to 6 weeks to produce, not including delivery times. All corsets are individually hand made in Wellington, New Zealand and feature the following:
3" waist reduction
2.5"gap at back
Steel boning - a combination of spring steel and spiral steel
Steel busk at front
Front facing, below the busk
Wide steel boning either side of lacing eyelets
Three layers of fabric - cotton lining, a strength layer of coutil, and the face/fashion fabric
Nickel eyelets, set by hand - if you have a nickel allergy, we recommend a modesty panel to protect your skin!
Polyester corset lacing cord
Waist tape
Items with a $0 value are included in the base price of a style - small eyelets, and some fabric choices for example. If you select the CUSTOM fabric, please indicate which fabric you'd like in the text field at the bottom of this page and you will be supplied with sample images of appropriate fabrics. You may also supply your own fabric in some cames - if so, please select this option and advise in the comments section. If you would like a patterned fabric, like stripes, plaid or brocade, select this option. We will do our best to source it for you - prices may vary.
As stated above, Little-Noise corsets are not suitable for tightlacing or everyday wear - if your garment is to be worn more than is recommended in our Terms and Conditions, consider upgrading to a coutil base fabric. This fabric is specifically designed for corsetry, and is a much stronger and generally superior corseting fabric. Coutil is not at this point used by default in Little-Noise corsets, as it carries a pricetag one would expect from a high quality fabric! This upgrade is listed in the options below, along with the price difference should you wish to have your corset constructed with this fabric. We do recommend this upgrade if you expect to wear your corset often.
Coloured busks are sometimes limited to certain styles - some colours, for example black, are only available in certain lengths. If the busk colour is crucial, please advise, and we will do our best to accomodate your choice.
Please note: garments with a waist measurement of more than 30 inches will incur an additional charge to cover extra boning and fabrics. This is to ensure that the garment is as strong and sturdy as garments with a smaller fabric:boning ratio :)
These prices are for custom sized garments - Little-Noise will soon be introducing a range of standard sizes, which will be slightly cheaper than custom sized garments - stay tuned!
